New Year, Thoughtful Changes to Our Care
As we begin the new year, we want to share a few important updates about how our practice is moving forward. These changes are rooted in our commitment to caring for the whole person and allowing us to focus more fully on individualized, patient-centered care. Below you’ll find answers to common questions, and we’re always here if you need clarification.
FAQ's
Why is the practice moving to a self-pay model?
Transitioning to a self-pay model allows us to spend more time with our patients, reduce administrative restrictions, and focus fully on individualized care. This change supports our commitment to caring for the whole person, rather than working within insurance-driven limitations.
Will you still accept my insurance?
We will no longer be contracted with or bill any insurance companies. Payment will be due at the time of service, unless a pre-paid package is purchased.
Can I still use my insurance benefits?
While we do not bill insurance directly, we can provide documentation (such as a receipt or superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company, if your plan allows for out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement are determined by your insurance provider.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
In many cases, chiropractic care is eligible for HSA or FSA use. We recommend confirming eligibility with your plan administrator.
Does this change affect the quality of care?
Our level of care will remain the same, and in many ways, this change allows us to enhance it. Without insurance constraints, we can focus more fully on your needs, goals, and overall well-being.
Will pricing change?
Our team is happy to discuss visit fees and any available care plans with you directly. We strive to keep our pricing transparent and fair.
We have also created Pre-Paid plans to help ease the cost of care
What if I have questions or concerns?
We understand that change can bring uncertainty, and we’re here to help. Please reach out to our office with any questions we’re happy to walk through this transition with you.
When does this change take effect?
The transition to a self-pay model will begin January 1, 2026.
You mentioned prepaid plans or care packages?
Yes. We offer prepaid care plans designed to support consistency in care and make visits more manageable over time. These plans allow patients to plan ahead while continuing to receive care focused on caring for the whole person.
